As November pushes us into the start of the holiday season, viewers can relax and enjoy highly-anticipated television releases as well as the start of the 2022 Qatar World Cup football season. Between theatrical offerings and sporting activities, there is something for every viewer with many significant releases planned for November. Some of these include;

The show brings luxury, drama, and so much fun to the fore every time it airs on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv ch. 151) on Mondays at 9 pm and Africa Magic Urban (DStv ch. 153) on Tuesdays at 9:30 pm.

The Chi

The Chi is a timely coming-of-age drama series centred on a group of residents who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption. It captures the lives of the residents of a brutal and dangerous neighbourhood in South Chicago as they deal with a murder in their area.

Follow the series as a brand-new season returns to 1Magic (DStv ch 103) on Tuesday, November 15 at 9 pm.

FIFA World Cup – Qatar 2022

The 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup will begin in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022. This global showpiece will feature 32 countries from five confederations. Even though the Nigeria team was unable to qualify for this year’s world cup, Nigerians are still heavily included in the games – as we say “Naija no dey carry last”.

For starters, award-winning superstar and ‘Buga’ crooner Kizz Daniel is billed to perform at the opening ceremony while our world-class, multi-award winning Afro-Pop megastar Davido. has lent his unmistakable signature raspy voice to the theme song for the 2022 World Cup. Beyond that, several players of Nigerian descent are playing this year, albeit for other countries. Then there is the MultiChoice twist – fans are guaranteed the best seat in the house with all 64 matches billed to be shown live on SuperSport with dedicated channels and commentary available in local languages – Pidgin English, Yoruba and Hausa – at the press of a button.

The Oval

A new first family attends their inauguration and moves into the White House when a series of events threatens the security and livelihood of the President’s family and the staff. The Oval introduces viewers to the life of the new first family moving into the White House and the many ordeals that follow. The American political drama is written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry, so you already know that the show is SPICY.

Get ready to have a drama-filled November as the fourth season begins on Wednesday, November 23, at 9:30 pm on BET (DStv ch. 129).

The Good Doctor

Covenant follows the stories of three significant families – The Ijimakindes, the Erhus and the Gbadamosi, and the residents of Oritameta as they play the dirty and powerful game of politics. From insidious affairs to unrepentant bloodshed, the show has everything capable of keeping you at the edge of your seat throughout the month of November.
