Chams Holding Company Plc subsidiary, Cardcentre Nigeria Limited (CCNL) which produces SIM cards for telecommunications providers, grew its revenue by 1,069% between 2022 and 2024.
Revenue for CCNL came in at N419 million in 2022, rising to N1.39 billion in 2023, and N4.9 billion in 2024.
“This impressive revenue growth reflects CCNL’s commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction,” Chams HoldCo Plc said.
A SIM card or SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) is a small memory chip that identifies a subscriber to a mobile network, allowing them to make calls, send texts, and use data.
Cardcentre commenced Chams SIM production operations in 2021 under a joint venture between Chams HoldCo Plc and Beijing Huahong IC Design Co., Ltd.
CCNL then launched its SIM card manufacturing operations with the delivery of production machines.
The first purchase order from MTN in December 2021 “marked a significant milestone”, and delivery commenced in August-September 2022, Chams said.
CCNL’s office and production facilities are located in Victoria Island, Lagos. Chams is a N12.72 billion market cap company listed on the NGX.
Chams HoldCo Half Year profit for the period that ended June 2025 fell by 53% to N418 million, largely due to a surge in cost of sales.
