A mysterious Bitcoin Whale crypto trader sprang back to action after 14 years of wallet dormancy to cash out $1 billion.

According to the popular crypto analyst Ted Pillows, a crypto whale had purchased 10,000 BTC for $1.54 each and sold it for $1 billion on Oct. 4.

“Imagine checking your wallet after 14 years and seeing nine zeros that is wild,” a crypto user wrote on X. Another user remarked, “Someone just made more than most countries’ annual budgets with a single decision.”

However, a few users expressed concern that the Bitcoin whale’s decision to sell BTC could lead to market dips and more whale selling.

Bitcoin’s (BTC) price declined from north of $126,000 to as low as $105,000 in October. November hasn’t brought any respite so far as BTC trades only a little above $104,000.
