CBN to rollover N821bn of Maturing T-Bills in Q3

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is set to rollover 100 percent of maturing Treasury Bills in the third quarter (Q3) by issuing N821.7 billion of new bills, according to the apex Banks Treasury Bill Issuance program seen by MoneyCentral.
A total of N109.6 billion of 91-day paper, N149.4 billion of 182-day paper and N562.7 billion of 364-day paper will be issued in Q3.
Yield across the short end of the curve range from 1.79 percent (91 days), to 2.43 percent (182 days) and 3.49 percent (364 days).
The CBN regularly issues Treasury Bills as part of its liquidity management tools and to raise funds for the Federal Government.
