Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote has provided more evidence backing up his allegations of graft against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Engr. Farouk Ahmed.
Dangote had alleged that Engr Farouk had spent over $5 million on his four children’s foreign secondary school education in Switzerland.
In a new update Dangote revealed that the schools attended by the four children were Montreux School, Aigion Collage, Institute Le Rosey, and La Garenne International School, all in Switzerland, for a period of six years each.
The approximate total fees for Tuition and upkeep for Engr. Farouk’s children’s secondary school education was put at $5,000,000, equivalent to about N7.5 billion.
In addition, tertiary education fee for the children were estimated at $2 million. Meanwhile one of the children named as Faisal is said to have just finished a 2025 Harvard MBA, estimated to have cost $200,000
It is important to note that Engr. Farouk is a Nigeran public sector worker whose salary cannot support these alleged expenditures.
