FirstHoldco Plc recorded a 13% slide in Profit After Tax (PAT) in the third quarter (Q3) period to September 2025 as fair value gains on financial instruments recorded in the 2024 period swung to a loss.

Profit for the owner of First Bank of Nigeria fell to N458 billion from N526 billion in the year ago period, as it booked valuation losses on financial instruments of N72.77 billion, compared to gains of N551.7 billion in 2024.

Net Interest income rose to N1.5 trillion, while net fee and commission income rose to N213.69 billion.
