FirstHoldCo Plc digital banking user growth continues to gather pace as the lender drives income through digital channels and innovative capabilities in a country where more young people use their mobile applications to carry out transactions.

For the first six months through June 2023, the value of FirstHolCo’s mobile and internet transactions spiked by 39.20 percent to N39.37 trillion from N28.91 trillion as at June 2024, according to MoneyCentral findings.

The volume of mobile and internet banking transaction processed hit N398 million as at June 2025, which is 15.40 percent higher than 2024’s 345 million.

There are 9.40 million FirstMobile and FirstOnline subscribers, which is 13.30 percent higher than 2024’s 8.30 million the previous year.

FirstOnline is an internet banking platform that allows customers to perform transactions such as funds transfers, bill payments etc. via the internet, anytime, anywhere.

FirstMobile is the official mobile banking smartphone application from FirstBank. It provides convenient access to both financial and non-financial transactions by FirstBank account holders via their mobile phones/devices. The service is available to FirstBank account holders with Naira MasterCard and/or Verve cards.

It is important to note that FirstHolCo has 25 million users across all digital platforms (894 banking, FirstMobile & FirstOnline).
