The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has said he will eliminate multiple exchange rates, if elected.
“We must also support exports and give incentive to foreign investors and remittances from abroad,” Atiku said in a Lagos Business School Alumni Day 2022 meeting with the private sector.
Atiku also said he would Privatise the 3 government owned refineries and turn Nigeria into a refining hub.
“If you add Aliko Dangote’s refinery, we can begin to export refined products to the rest of West Africa.”
Atiku also said his administration would remove petrol subsidies if elected
