Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has condemned the invasion of the home of Reverend Daniel Umaru of EYN Church Njairi in the Mubi Local Government Area of the State by gunmen and the attack on the pastor and his entire family as barbaric.
Governor Fintiri while offering his condolences to the family over the death of their Children describes the attack as shocking.
“The State Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable attack on this innocent family; the perpetrators of this heinous act must be brought to justice, and we have offered our full support to the Security Agencies to do so,” Fintiri said
The Governor, in a statement signed by his media aide, Humwashi Wonosikou further said his Government would continue to confront crime in all its forms, including “the threat posed by kidnappers, while also offering his “deepest condolences” to the victims’ families and loved ones, including the Church of the Brethren (EYN).
Governor Fintiri has since directed Security agencies to scale up intelligence and fish out the criminals, adding that all perpetrators must be brought to justice for crimes against humanity.
