Blakeney LLP an insider with substantial shareholding at conglomerate UACN has sold shares valued at up to N280 million according to a filing by the firm on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) yesterday.
The insider Blakeney sold a total of 40 million UACN shares at an average price of N7 per share, according to the filing.
The date of the transaction was June 17th 2020, according to the filing.
Blakeney had earlier in April sold some 10 million shares which was reported by MoneyCentral.
Blakeney is registered in England and regulated by the U.K Financial Conduct Authority in the UK and also registered as an investment advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the United States.
Blakeney’s clients are mostly blue-chip institutions: U.S. university endowments, foundations, charities and family offices.
