Following the need to bridge the deficits in housing development in Nigeria, AlBEN and Mshel Homes both property developers have flagged off the Hutu Abuja road construction project.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja during the flag off of the 30 kilometers road leading to estate from the Airport road, the Chief Executive Officer of AlBEN , Chief Andy Elewere, noted that the resolve is to make housing possible for their clients and partners who have gathered to witness their strong determination to make lives worthwhile.
According to him: ” This is very important for us. Exactly eight months ago, we did a flag off of this whole project and concept. We made a lot of promises. We told Nigerians, we are ready and willing to go to any length to ensure that this project is achieved.
”The road is to important for us as those who are coming to buy our properties should have a first hand taste of what we are committed to do through this road construction. And just about eight months down the line, precisely today, we are flagging off the thirty kilometres road which shows our resolve, commitment, determination to get this initiative through.
” We are willing to make sure that all what we promised will be done. And that is why we are here today. You can feel the smiles on people’s faces. We are different. And that is what makes us unique,” he stated.
Architect Barika Mshela, the Group Managing Director of Mshel Group, in his contribution said the project is not just another estate but one that will see the light of the day and add values to lives in Abuja.
He said: ” For us, this project is not another estate. It is something that we hope will change the way people live and how they relax. The Hutu project entirely is a concept that is burn out of the desire to have a resort sort of environment.
”And with the collaboration with Aiben and myself, we are determined to put infrastructure first, and create an environment of eco-system where we will live, play and have fun.
”And one of the things that made these project quite unique is the resort concept. It has a very good resort, an amusement park, a polo gulf course, and a golf course where people can come and relax and enjoy the serenity of the environment.
” So, when we talk about sustainability as far as real estate is concerned, you cannot do anything without thinking of what Mshel and Aiben are doing in the city of Abuja and Nigeria at large.”
He added further: ” This part of the road which is five hectares is to be completed in the next five months. And then subsequently, in the next two months, they will also start the second phase of another five kilometres and entirely, we hope that in the next two years, the whole infrastructure work will be completed.
”And, that is to say that for every investor, who takes his or her time to invest in this project, the return they will get is something to look forward to. And it is something everyone should be excited about because, I believed that the investment will create at least 200% return on investment,” he said.
