Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has suspended activities in the State for the next 3 days.
Sanwo-Olu was speaking during a broadcast this morning where he said:
“Fellow Lagosians with the mood of the nation at this time, I have directed further that we have an immediate suspension of all state activity for the next 3 days, except those that are connected with the governance of security in the state and the management of the current issue.
I have also directed that all public buildings flags will be lowered for the next 3 days as a mark of solidarity for the protests. It is also one of the darkest hours for our people but our sun will rise again.”
