The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) in a statement to shareholders says it has been formally notified by VFD Group Plc that its total shareholding in Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group) stands at 5.17% of the issued share capital of NGX Group as at 16 February 2022.
VFD Group is an investment firm with portfolio across 41 businesses, ranging from financial services to asset management, real estate, and Fintech.
VFD had a total asset base of N107.2 billion as at December 2021, and its shares are traded on the NASD OTC marketplace.
In December 2021, the Rights Issue of VFD Group’s 7,452,054 Ordinary shares of 0.50kobo each at N556.00 per share were admitted to trade on the NASD OTC Securities Exchange.
The company raised N4.1 billion from the Rights Issue.
