APC Chieftain, Others Throw Weight Behind Gboko West Assembly Candidate

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Mbaavarakaa Council Ward of Mbatiav in Gboko local government area of Benue State, Elder Wulu Ishor has pledged his support to the candidature of Mr Hyacinth Dajoh to win the Gboko West State House of Assembly seat in next year’s general election.

Honouring the candidate and his wife on Sunday at his at Achidam market square, Mbatiav, Elder Ishor assured the candidate of overwhelming victory at the polls, explaining that he was moved by his spirit to honor the APC assembly candidate with the conviction that he will attract massive development to his constituency when elected come 2023 election.

“The honour I am giving to the assembly candidate in the presence of APC chieftains across Mbatiav and beyond was the demonstration of my total support to the candidate for overwhelming victory in the forthcoming election”.

He appreciated APC faithful who have traveled from far and near to grace the occasion and advised them to work towards ensuring that the APC candidates emerge victorious by massively voting for them.

In their separate remarks, the APC chairman of Mbaavarakaa and Mbaanku council wards, Mr Liambee Akange and Kiki Thaddeus, all called on APC members to vote for all candidates of the party so that democracy dividends will flow in their respective communities, while APC Youth from Mbaavarakaa, Tamber Tardoo, assured of their relentless efforts to ensure victory.

One of the elders, Engineer Aku who predicted an overwhelming victory for APC in the 2023 general elections, noted that the recent court victories by the APC Governorship Candidate Rev. Fr. Alia against his co – contestants was a message of inevitable victory for APC against the PDP in 2023.

Engineer Aku lamented the backwardness of Mbatiav people in the scheme of things under PDP leadership in the State, but expressed optimism that something good will come to Mbatiav community when APC will assume duty next year.

On his part, former SUBEB Permanent member and APC chieftain in Mbatiav, Mr Dennis Golozo said a vote for APC was the restoration of the Benue State lost glory being experienced in the present political dispensation.

Mr. Gabriel Atondu, younger brother to elder Wulu Ishor tasked Mbaavarakaa people to vote out the current member of the House of Assembly who has offered nothing to the constituency and moved no motion on the floor of the assembly since assumption of office in 2019.
