The All Progressive Congress (APC) won all 17 local government chairman seats and council positions in the Saturday local government elections conducted in Plateau state.
Chairman, Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission PLASIEC Fabian Ntung announced the results to Journalists in Jos, on Sunday at the commission’s office.
Announcing the results, Mr. Ntung said the All Progressive Congress APC also won the entire 325 councilors positions.
He said the commission is satisfied with the manner in which the elections were conducted.
Mr. Ntung thanked stakeholders who participated and ensured a free, fair and peaceful conduct of the LGA polls in the state.
Meanwhile, Plateau state government has scheduled tomorrow Monday for swearing in of the newly elected council chairmen.
