A socioeconomic group in the north under the aegies of the Advocacy for Good Governance has hailed the organisers of International Hausa Day Hausa Arts and Culture Exhibition known as HAUSAFEST for confering an honour of Fagacin Zango on the Governor of Zamfara state, Bello Matawalle.

The group described the honour as a well deserved title, saying that the good work of the governor is being noticed even beyond the shore of the country.

” We are very with the Ghanian government for honouring a Nigerian governor. This is an attestation to the fact that Gov. Bello Matawalle is doing fine in his responsibilities as a governor in the last few year of his stewarship,” the group said.

This was contained in a statement signed by the leader of the group, Muhammed Abdullahi and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday.

According to the statement obtained by Money Central, the group extolled the virtues of culture preservation in Ghana.

The group however urged the youth to sustain the institution of Hausa day as a way of improving the cultural heritage even outside the country.

In the statement, the group also commended the organisers for organising a grand durbar in honour of Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle.
