A socioeconomic group under the aegis of the Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has hailed the Kwara state government over its show of love to the petty traders in the state.

This was coming after AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman’s led administration made a fresh disbursement of grants to women petty traders across the state.

The group in a statement on Monday, explained that the disbursement of the grants to traders would in no small measures boost the economy of the state.

According to the statement which was signed by the group leader, Isa Ahmed and made available to newsmen in Kaduna, noted that the grants will go a long way to alleviate poverty, most especially amongst the women.

Also in the statement, the group applauded the Kwara state Government for the awards and gifts that were given to 61 teachers from different stages of the state’s educational sector.

In the statement, the leader of the group noted that the gesture was a morale booster for the teachers, especially for those who were awarded, just as the statement reads that, it would encourage others to be dedicated to their duties.

“As a group in the north, we are aware that the AbdulRasaq’s administration has ensured prompt payment of salaries, unlike before,” the group noted.

The group urged teachers in the state to continue to do their best for humanity and for the state.
