A northern group under the auspices of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has disclosed that the educational reforms and investments of the AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman’s government in Kwara state would offer Kwaran children a good opportunity to excel.
The group said that the governor’s efforts in the education sector, including reviving the Colleges of Education, payment of counterpart funds, infrastructural renewals and recruitment of competent teachers, among others, have scored him high.
The group in a statement signed by its leader, Isa Ahmed, described the achievements of the AbdulRasaq’s administration over the last three years has been unique and commendable.
This was coming after some months when students in the state staged a peaceful rally in support of the educational reforms of the governor in the state.
The leader of the group said that Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq deserves to be re-elected because of his efforts towards reforming the educational sector.
“Gov. AbdulRazaq has performed well, hence he deserves a fresh mandate,” the group emphasised.
The group therefore urged Kwarans to support the governor beyond 2023, that the citizens must allow the good work to continue in the state.
