Following the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) trial put on a serving member of the House of Representatives, Gabriel Saleh Zock, his constituents have described such as an attempt to pull down the lawmaker.
Zock who is representing Kachia Kagarko Federal Constituency of Kaduna State in the House of Representatives was arraigned over alleged advanced fees fraud amounting to N185 million by the said Commission.
The constituents in their seperate remarks explained that the greatest blight on the Clean slate of humanity’s greatness has always been hearsay , falsehoods and faults findings.
According to the former Deputy Speaker, Kaduna state House of Assembly, Hon. Nuhu Goroh Shadalafia, the embattled lawmaker has done so much in such a hard time that some people are not happy about.
Meanwhile, a document obtained by our reporter indicates that the ‘ Direct Criminal Complaint Against Mr. Gabriel Saleh by one Engineer Adeyemi Kamar dated 3rd September, 2018 was withdrawn as stated.
The document titled ‘ Withdrawal of Petition was addressed to AG, Chairman EFFC, Jabi District, Abuja. The said letter was written by Ayuwa Bawa & Co; a Legal Practitioners & Property Consultants.
Part of the withdrawal’s letter reads: ” we are Counsels to Engr. Adeyemi Kamar ( Hereafter reffered to as our client) on whose behalf the above mentioned petition dated 3rd September 2018 against Mr. Gabriel Saleh was done by A.P Samson.
” Our client has reached an amicable settlement with Mr. Gabriel Saleh on the subject matter of his petition of 3rd September, 2018 and therefore we have his latest/ final instruction to withdraw his petition against Mr. Gabriel Saleh.
” We invaluably appreciate the painstaking diligence with which you ensured justice for our client and regret whatever inconvenience his petition and withdrawal have caused your office”.
Also in his statement titled ‘Ignorance Is The Mother Of Presumption’ the Chairman, APC Consultative Forum Kachia/Kagarko, Yusuf Usmaniyya, explained that the people that are spreading these lies and misleading the media are paid hands or hired by some hidden forces with the intention of achieving cheap popularity on the banner of destroying another man’s honor.
