The establishment of Digital Literacy Centre (DLC) by the AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq administration in Kwara state has received commendations from stakeholders within and outside the state.

This is just as the Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), disclosed that the establishment of the DLC in the state is a boost to the Kwaran educational system.

The group however, noted that the centre can help students to have access to the digital world to enable them compete globally.

This was contained in a statement signed by the leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, titled: ‘Better Education, Better Future.

In the statement made available to newsmen on Friday, the group further explained that the DLC will help to prepare students to have requisite knowledge about some software applications across all classes using the Nigerian curriculum.

“The centre, without doubt, will also help to prepare students for all examinations in Nigeria, including Common Entrance, JSCE, WASSCE and JAMB, the group stated.

The group, while applauding the Governor for his quest for a better educational system in Kwara state, explained that the AbdulRasaq’s led administration is already securing the future of the state through a purposeful leadership.

Ahmed therefore urged the Kwarans to be more dedicated and focused more on the development of the state, while rendering the required support to the administration of AbdulRasaq in the state,
