The free medical services given to over 500 people, most of whom are vulnerables in Kaduna South Local Government Area (LGA) courtesy of Dr. Bashir Jamoh, has been lauded by a youth group.
The group under the auspices of the Yoruba Youth Support Group for Jamoh said, the innitiative is a step in the right direction.
The Co-ordinator of the group, Hon. Rasheed Adekeye said that the group is happy about the gesture, just as he said that Jamoh is a man of the people.
Adekeye disclosed this during the flag-off of the exercise in Kaduna recently.
One of the beneficiaries, Adamu Adamu prayed that God Almighty guide and guard Jamoh for giving back to the society, especially at a time of hardship that many people could not afford to pay for health related services.
Our reporter also gathered that the aim of the outreach was to help the aged and the vulnerables in the society, while 500 people are targeted in each Local Government Area across the 23 LGA of the state.
