Governor of Kwara state, AbdulRasaq AbdulRahman, has been described as a silent achiever and quiet revolutionalist by a northern group under the aegies of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), owing to his stellar performances in the state since assumption of office.

The group explained that anyone that is familiar with Kwara would appreciate the political, administrative and the Midas’ touch of the AbdulRasaq’s administration in the state.

This, according to the leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, in a statement signed and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Monday.

In the statement, Ahmed noted that the state never had it so good, adding that the present administration in the state had since rolled up his sleeves to right the wrongs of yester-years.

According to the group, AbdulRasaq administration has constructed 600 blocks of classrooms through Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWUSUBEB), across the 16 local government education authority in the state; hundreds of classrooms have been renovated to enhance conducive learning environment; among others.

The group further explained that Governor AbdulRasaq has also midwived the Smart School Initiatives with the approval of 31 schools under the SBMC-SIP; Team Kwara, an idea of the Governor for quality education.

” The huge investment of the Kwara state government on education is no doubt given positive result to the state’s educational sector. The governor does his things without the usual encomium that some politicians court, and this, being the reason why the Governor is been described as a silent achiever and quiet revolutionist,” the group emphasised.

The group therefore urged the Kwarans to take the 2023 election serious and not to allow themselves to be used by some selfish politicians who do not mean well for the state, while also calling on the good people of the state to support Gov. AbdulRasaq in the coming election.
