A governorship aspirant in Benue state under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Architect Joseph Kyaagba has denied having any association with the publication in some section of the media over the pruning down the number of aspirants by the Vandeikya local govt People’s Democratic Party.

In a statement signed by the governorship aspirant himself and made available to Journalists in Lafia, Kyaagba said he can’t be drawn into adding credibility to a cheap local scam aimed at distracting the strategic pursuits within the known operational framework of the PDP.

“I am not running for the chairmanship of Vandeikya local govt, so I do not see how the fortunes of a governorship aspirant can be determined by one local government.”

He added that as a loyal party man he believes that the State leadership of the PDP is capable of handling the situation.
