Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has described those who want to cause trouble between him and Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura as mischief-makers with a challenge on them to give peace a chance for the sake of unity of the party in the state.
Governor Sule, stated this at a rally in Doma local government area of the state in continuation of his campaign for re-election bid.
He said some mischief makers are trying to cause a rift between him and the former Governor of Nasarawa State now senator representing the southern part of the state, adding those doing that are out to destabilize the party for their interest.
According to Sule,” Those who want me and Tanko Al-Makura to have a rift are mischief makers.
“You heard Tanko say no matter the high level of mischief you will not hear me and Tanko fight each other. No room for them any longer,”he said.
The governor also narrated that, Tanko Almakura worked hard for him to become the governor of Nasarawa State in 2019, he would do more for him to get his second term in senate than the way he would work for his second term bid in office as governor.
He however said,” They will never hear any argument between me and Tanko Al-Makura, for the interest of the party in the state,” he added.
Earlier on his remarked former governor of Nasarawa State Umaru Tanko Al-Makura now senator representing southern senatorial district said he wants to dispel rumours making the rounds that there is rift between me and Sule.
He explained that those speculating the rumour are mischief makers, adding that they are out to disunite him and governor Abdullahi Sule.
He added that,” If you look at our faces we are united stronger and there is no rift between us.
