Jos North/Bassa Bye-election: APC Candidates Collaborate Towards Winning

Candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC for the Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency By-election, in Plateau state, Joseph Abbey Aku, has said the conflicts between him and his opponent is over.
It will be recalled that Mr. Abbey, and Suleiman Kwande who contested the APC and had tied, were at loggerhead.
The APC candidate stated this Wednesday in Jos, Plateau state, during a press conference.
“We are collaborating, working as members of the APC with my rival during the party primaries, I personally met him after my victory, we have scheduled another meeting later today, he is supporting my aspiration.”
It will be recalled that one among the eight aspirants left APC, got a ticket of another political party, and is contesting the same election.
Speaking on the possibility of him winning the election come Saturday, Mr. Abbey said he is optimistic.
“I have met several stakeholders including religious organizations and the response is positive,” he stated.
Abbey said there is no need to hold a campaign rally, “we have embarked on a door to door campaign, because, if you organize a campaign rally, you will just be gathering people who are not your supporters,” he explained
Earlier, before the address of the APC candidate, the publicity Secretary of the All Progressive Congress APC in Plateau state Mr. Slyvanus Namang had assured Journalists that APC will be victorious at the by-election.
