The Kaduna State House of Assembly has lifted the suspension of its former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Nuhu Goroh Shadalafia, member representing Kagarko constituency.
Shadalafia and Mukhtar Isa-Hazo, who was also the former deputy speaker representing Basawa constituency and Yusuf Liman-Dahiru, Kakuri/Makera constituency were suspended in August 2020.
Though, sometimes last year, August 2021, Isa-Hazo’s suspension was lifted leaving behind Shadalafia and Liman-Dahiru.
Our reporter gathered that the decision to lift Shadalafia’s suspension followed the resolution of the House on Tuesday in Kaduna, which was in accordance with the Assembly’s Code of Conduct.

Information also revealed that the lawmaker representing Kakuri/Makera constituency is still on suspension.
Our reporter also gathered that the decision to lift the lawmaker’s suspension is with effect from 31 May, 2022
