Kaduna Pilgrims Agency Partners Jaiz bank On Hajj Operations

Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency assures of continuous collaboration with Jaiz bank PLC for effective hajj operations in future.

The Agency has an arrangement in partnership with Jaiz bank to provide long-term saving platform for potential pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary of the Agency, Dr. Yusuf Yakubu Arrigasiyyu when he received a delegation from the bank in Kaduna.

Arrigasiyyu said that the saving scheme will give intending pilgrims the opportunity to save for the pilgrimage in installments which many have benefited from.

Responding, the Regional Manager, North Central Zone of Jaiz Bank, Malam Yunusa Jafaru congratulated the agency on a hitch free 2022 Hajj exercise.

According to Jafaru, the agency had performed wonderfully well in organizing the 2022 Hajj exercise right from Kaduna to Saudi Arabia.

“We all received reports on how this agency did well in handling the Hajj exercise from the beginning to the end. We are aware of the award Kaduna state received at the holy city for it’s performance all through the pilgrimage.”

The Regional Manager said as partners and stakeholders, the bank will continue to collaborate with the agency with a view to achieving effective service delivering to the people.

In a related development, Arrigasiyyu had also pleaded with the Islamic Schools Coalition of Nigeria, Kaduna State Chapter under the leadership of Imam Muhammad Abdullahi to partner with the agency in enlightening intending pilgrims on Hajj rituals.

The Executive Secretary said the Head of enlightenment and orientation department of the agency will liase with the coalition towards enlightening intending pilgrims yearly across the 23 centers of the state.

Arrigasiyyu also advised the leadership of the coalition to pay a visit to the Director, Bureau of Interfaith to discuss emerging issues that is affecting the Muslim ummah, as well as proffering solutions.

He further reiterated his commitment to staff development of the agency as he announced that the agency will organize internal capacity development programmes for staff on Arabic language proficiency in order to aid their performance at the Holy land during subsequent Hajj operations.
