The Governor of Kwara state, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, has recieved accolade over the approval for the recruitment of medical professionals in the state.
A socioeconomic group in the north; Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has applauded the Governor, saying that the initiative would not only boost the Human Resources in the but it will contribute to efficient service delivery in the health sector.
The leader of the group, Isa Ahmed, in a statement signed on Monday and made available to journalists explained that the approval is timely and aimed at improving performances in the health sector.
“ As a concerned group, we are very happy that the Governor has taking serious, the issue relating to the health of the Kwarans.
” It is no doubt that the approval for the recruitment of the medical professionals would complement the unprecedented infrastructural development that the state is currently enjoying.
“It is also on record that the state now have several modern equipments recently procured by the state government. And with the recruitment of 197 medical professionals it would go a long way to help put the sector back on the track,” the group explained.
According to the group, the infrastructural develoment in the health sector is for the good of the people.
