Lawmaker Wins PDP Delegate Elections, Set for Jos North/Bassa Bye-election

A Plateau state legislator representing Irigwe/Rukuba constituency Hon Musa Agah has been declared winner of the just concluded delegate elections of the People’s Democratic Party PDP held in Jos Plateau state, on Thursday.
Declaring the results, chairman of the Election Committee, Mr Francis Orogu said, Musa Agah won overwhelmingly.  Agah stated that“Hon. Musa Agah polled 152 votes, Jonathan Dabo had 127 votes and David Racha scored one vote.
The electoral committee chairman noted the elections were peaceful, free and fair “As you can see, what happened here was transparent, we gave a level playing to all aspirants, and you can see how everything went smoothly.
Following the Victory, Hon Agah will contest the forthcoming Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency by-election slated for February 26th, 2022.
Mr. Agah won the election with 152 votes and defeated his closest rival, Jonathan Dabo, who scored 127 votes. A former Council chairman of Bassa LGA who also contested the PDP primaries got one vote.
Mr Agah commended the maturity of all the aspirants and urged them to support the party to ensure it emerges victorious in the secondary election.
Reacting to his victory, winner of the delegate election Musa Agah, dedicated the Victory to God; he thanked the delegates for their immense support.
“I appreciate my brothers who contested against me, I believe the victory is for all of us.”
