Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Sen. Lawal Adamu and Hon. Ekene A. Adams, member representing Chikun Federal Constituency have bagged the 2023 League of Extraordinary Achievers’ Award (LEAA).
The duo was honoured in Kaduna with the awards of emerging ‘Politician of the Year 2023’ and ‘Hall of the Year 2023′ respectively.
Equally, member representing Lere East constituency, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Munirat Tanimu Suleiman received the LEEA award as the Legislator’ of the Year 2023.
The lawmakers amongst other personalities were honoured for their contributions to the development of the society, nation building and positive impact.
Meanwhile, the Life Time Achievers Award goes to wole Kajola, while Dr. Ayodeji Victor Orited and Mrs Risikat Ladi Ahmed bagged the awards of the ‘Man of the Year 2023 and Woman of the Year 2023 respectively.
Amongst the awardees for the LEAA 2023 Year include a Kaduna based journalist, Abdulwaheed Olayinka Adubi, Trust TV, PAN Nigeria Limited.
Others on the list of the awardees were: Mr. Lateefat Opeyemi Hakeem, Aisha Ahuoiza Ismail, Engr. Simon Ifediora Nwakacha, Mrs. Olabisi Adebayo were honoured with the award of entrepreneur of the year and charity & peace awards in male and female categories respectively.
Speaking to newsmen, the organiser of the event cum Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gaze Production, Adekunle Adeyemi explained that the awardees were selected across all walks of life, especially those who have done the most to raise standards.
While thanking the guests, awardees and partners for making this yet another great awards event, Mr Adeyemi tasked governments at all levels to explore all opportunities in the entertainment industry for economic gains of the nation.
