The Great Lafia Old Students Association (LOSA) of Government Science School Lafia, has elected and sworn in new officers to pilot the affairs of the association for next two years.
At its 2021 convention, which was held recently at the school premises, Dr. Faisal Shuaib, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, emerged as the association’s National President. Louis Ogah was elected as the National Secretary.
Barr. Muhammed emerged as the National Legal Adviser, while Angela Pam was elected into the position of Director of Social.
Mohammed Ibrahim also secured victory for the post of National Treasurer Others who were elected unopposed are Yakubu Danjuma, Vice President, Yau Agade Financial, Secretary, Barnabas Anyam Public, relations officer, Ali Musa, Assistant secretary general, Joseph Dashe, Auditor 1, Usman Mohammed, Auditor 2 and Hauwa Suleiman, Auditor 3 as exco members of the Association.
Dr. Faisal while delivering his acceptance speech commended his predecessor for the great work done to uplift the association and promised to harness the huge potentials that abound in the Alumni for the development of their alma- mater.
He implored the new executive members to creatively explore ways to take the association to another level. He promised to work closely with the school authority and all critical stakeholders to achieve a great result for the association.
