Nasarawa Tiv Civil Servants Backs Gov. Sule’s Second Term Bid

The Association of Nasarawa State Tiv Civil Servants (ANSTICS) under the leadership of Mr Christopher Ihuman has drummed support for Engr Abdullahi A Sule’s second term bid.

The Association made this known separately in Doma and Keana during a sensitization tour to the Tiv people.

Mr Ihuman, who led the  delegation of the Association to interface with the Tiv people in the two  Local Governments Areas, thanked them for their large turn up.

He further requested for their bloc votes to Engr Abdullahi A Sule and all other candidates of the All Progressive Congress(APC) for the State House of Assembly’s elections on 11th March,2023.

The ANSTICS’ chairman pin-pointed that Gov Abdullahi A Sule has done a lot to the people of Nasarawa State, despite the security challenges facing the state and the country as a whole. Hence, the need to pay him back through massive votes to enable him clinch the number one seat of the Nasarawa State Government House in order to consolidate on his good works for the state.

The Patron of the Association, Dr Francis Uger alongside, Angwe Jacob,Tashi Ageba Tashi, Vincent Tyozer, Comrade Peter Ahemba, Hon Mercy Kumbur,Mrs Helen Abeghe among other speakers corroborated the views of the Chairman stressing that, a vote for Engr Abdullahi A Sule is a vote for national victory.

They separately said that politics is devoid of tribal and religious sentiments. They, therefore, cautioned the Tiv people of Doma and Keana LGAs not to fall prey to the cheap propaganda going round the state about religious bigotry, instead of campaigning for credible,capable, experienced and trustworthy leader like Engr Abdullahi A Sule.

In his speech, the state treasurer of APC, Jacob Achagh advised the Tiv people to come out en masse to vote for the peace-loving Governor of the State,Engr A A Sule this week Saturday.

Also speaking,the Executive Chairman, Keana LGA, Hon Sanusi Abdul Danji,who was at Kadarko, one of the venues, applauded the leadership of ANSTICS for its bold steps taken in wooing support for his boss.

Responding, Mori Begha and Iorshe both expressed gratitude to the leadership of ANSTICS for the novel sensitization tour to their communities. They equally appealed to the Government of Nasarawa State to provide enough security to the affected Tiv communities to enable them return home and vote for the incumbent Governor.
