Northern Group Berates Saraki, Lai Muhammed Over Gov. AbdulRasaq

A northern group under the auspices of Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has berated the immediate past Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Minister of Information, Lai Muhammed over the forthcoming general elections.

The group said, even the ardent critics of Gov. AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq can attest to the fact that the Governor is doing excellently well in the state.

While addressing Journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, the leader of the group, Isa Ahmed explained that the coming electiooneering campaign will be issue based, adding that the Governor’s performance has scored him high.

Ahmed, while speaking, also said that the opposition camps led by Bukola Saraki and Lai Muhammed do not have the political sterminal to withstand the Governor going by his performances.

” The Kwarans are wise and they are monitoring the progress been recorded in the state in the last three years of AbdulRasaq’s administration which has brought about development in all aspect of governance.

” So, Saraki and Lai Muhammed should not think of having any of their stooges in the affairs of the state come 2023. The era of dictatorship is gone, and the electorate are satisfied with the performances of Governor AbdulRasaq in the state,” Ahmed said.

The leader of the group also said that the difference is clear in the last few years, while also explaining that Saraki should not dream of PDP coming to power in the next elections in Kwara state.

He therefore advised Saraki and Lai Muhammed not to place their selfish interest above the interest of the people of the state.
