NYSC Conducts Swearing-in Ceremony for Adamawa Batch C Stream 1 Corp Members

National Youth Services Corp has sworn-in over 1,300, the swearing-in ceremony was held on Tuesday at the NYSC permanent orientation camp Damare Girei local government area of Adamawa state.

Acting Chief Judge of the state, Hon Justice Hafsat Abdulrahaman administered the oath of allegiance on 1,300 Batch C stream I corps members, comprising 788 males and 512 females.

The prospective Corp members were sworn- in by the Adamawa State Acting Chief Judge, Hon Justice Hafsat Abdulrahaman as she welcomed them to the state.

The Director General of NYSC Brigadier General MK Fadah DSS, warmly welcomed the prospective corps members calling on them to participate in all activities in the camp.

The Adamawa state coordinator Gingi Denise addressing the Corp members in the swearing-in stated that the orientation is the first cardinal program of NYSC and so he called on Corp members to participate fully in all activities in the camp.

Representing the NYSC DG, the State Coordinator I call on Corp members rigorously to acquire skills and entrepreneurship. According to him, white collar job is not readily available any where

In his speech, he appreciates the Federal, State and Local government, he also appreciates security agencies and traditional rules, Corp members, employers and stakeholders for their numerous support.

Some of the corps members, in excitement, pledged to give back to the society by reaching out to the vulnerable persons and also solve problems around their immediate community.
