NYSC Inducts 1526 Corp Member’s in Adamawa, as Fintiri Restates Commitment to Security

Governor Ahmedu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has assured corps members posted to Adamawa of safety.

Fintiri gave the assurance while addressing 1,526 youth corps members deployed to the state for 2021 batch ‘C’ stream 2 orientation course at the NYSC orientation Camp in Damare, Girei Local Government on Tuesday.

The Governor who was ably represented by the Chief of Staff to the Government House, Prof Maxwel Gidado (SAN) Dan Masanin Ganye 11 calls on the corps members to ensure they get vaccinated for the ongoing FG free vaccination for their own safety. He added that arrangements have been made to deploy officials for the vaccination in the Camp.

In his remark, the Chairman NYSC Governing Board Honorable Aloysius Babadoke congratulated the corps members for the successful swearing-in ceremony. The NYSC state coordinator Malam Ibrahim Tukur congratulated the corps members and advised them to give their best in discharging their duty as patriotic Nigerians.

The state coordinator also in his speech warned the corp members to stay away from drug abuse, cultism and order social vices. Some of the corps members who spoke with our correspondent express joy as Rose Ojoma Alfa from Kogi narrated how happy she feels as it’s her first time in the Northeast.

Meanwhile Abel Choma applauded the security personnel in the camp stating that Adamawa state is peaceful and hospitable and he is glad to meet new people as he promised to do his best in the interest of the nation.

About 1,526 Corp members comprising 1,379 males and 144 females were successfully sworn-in for the orientation course.
