Chief Hon gave the commendation yesterday when the Vice-Chancellor conducted Council members on an inspection tour of completed projects in the University awaiting to be commissioned.
He appreciated TETfund for providing the needed funds for infrastructural development in the University. The Council equally acknowledged some of the projects and infrastructure funded through the Presidential NEEDS.
According to him, Council will ensure that funds are judiciously used for the projects they are appropriated.
The projects visited include: academic block building, 6 Blocks Entrepreneurship workshop building, designated building for Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Education Complex, Centre for Research Management and Senior Staff Club Road.
Council expressed joy that the Unions suspended their strike and are back to work. Council noted that the campuses were quite busy, but also agreed to continue to dialogue with the Visitor over the demands of staff as a matter of priority.
