Security Agents Rescue Abducted Plateau Polytechnic Students

Combined efforts of security operatives in Plateau state have led to the rescue of three students from the Plateau state polytechnic who were abducted Wednesday night.

A Press text issued by Police Public Relations Officer PPRO of the Plateau state police command ASP Gabriel Ogabah said the victims were rescued unhurt.

“The team of Police and STF deployed to rescue the victims kidnapped yesterday at Ban Village behind the Plateau State Polytechnic have rescued them today 13/1/2022 at about 1430hrs unhurt.”

Earlier, Commissioner of Police in the state paraded some suspected Kidnappers terrorizing the state, among them were three who recently kidnapped wife of the deputy chief of staff to the deputy governor of Plateau state.

The Commissioner of Police Bartholomew Onyeka had during a parade of the suspects revealed that the police successfully rescued a wife of a highly placed politician in Plateau state government.

“Rescue of Kidnapped Victims: Following the cases of Abduction of one Mrs. Tabitha Silas Vem ‘f’, wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Plateau State Government House and one Dr Samuel Audu ‘m’ of Barkin Ladi area of Plateau State, a combined team of Police operatives and other security agencies embarked on a rescue operation,” he said.

Meanwhile, the police spokesman said one of the suspected kidnappers of the said Plateau state polytechnic students was apprehended during the rescue operation.
