The Nasarawa State governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP Engr. Joseph Ewuga, has challenged governor Abdullahi Sule to show the projects he has executed in the three years of his administration rather than taking census of governorship candidates.
Governor Sule has recently in an interview on a national Television said he does not know the governorship candidate of LP in Nasarawa state.
But in a swift reaction, Engr. Ewuga accused Gov. Sule of under-developing the state. He also accused the governor of being unable to secure the state from attacks where farmers are not able to go to their farms thereby causing hunger in the state.
The LP governorship candidate said that at the moment, Gov Sule’s Job was not to take the Census of governorship candidates in Nasarawa but to show his three years’ scorecard to the good people of the state.
He said the governor was afraid of his growing popularity where his candidature is widely accepted by the people of the state. He urged the people not to be discouraged by the distractions of the governor who has nothing to tell the people of Nasarawa again but to engage in media war with other aspirants.
“I am surprised that a sitting governor like Sule, instead of showing the projects he has executed in the three years of his administration, was busy discussing labour party governorship candidates on national television.
“A serious governor who has projects to show can never go on a national Television taking census of governorship aspirants in his state. If you’re popular don’t bother about people contesting with you.
“We in the Labour party are busy doing issue based campaigns and not taking census of who and who is contesting with us. Our concern is the electorate and not the other aspirants because our campaign is Ideological,” Ewuga said.
