INEC Makes U-turn, Denies Extending Voter Registration By 60 Days

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Kwara state Chapter, candidate for Ilorin West/Asa federal constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia says the introduction of Bimodal Accreditation System (BVAS) by INEC will promote free, fair and credible conduct of 2023 general election.

Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia stated this during the presentation of his manifesto entitled “My Offer to Serve” in Ilorin.

According to him the BVAS machine will give the electoral umpire the opportunity to monitor elections right from accreditation to completion.

Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia explained that the issue of electoral violence associated with ballot box snatching will be a thing of the past.

He noted that if voted into office he will give priority to the issue of security which has affected all sectors of the country.

Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia said women and youths’ empowerment will also be promoted to reduce the involvement of youths in electoral violence and other anti-social vices.

He said his vision is to ensure that things are done differently for the benefit of all irrespective of their background.

In his address the Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Kwara state Chapter, Babatunde Mohammed said, Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia has the competence and capacity to serve the people.
