A northern socio-economic group known as Arewa Solidarity Group (ASG), has commended the Kwara state government for the introduction of KwaraLEARN project for debaters who will be representing the country at the international schools competition.
Recall that the Kwara contingents comprising public schools students, won the national schools students debate at the finals in Lagos and will be representing the country at the world debate competition in Netherlands.
The group said, the feat underscored the efforts and investments of the AbdulRazaq administration in basic education.
The leader of the group, Isa Ahmed in an exclusive interview with Money Central charged the AbdulRazaq led administration to ensuring that everything is being done for the students to excel at the world schools debate championship as they represent Nigeria in Netherlands.
” The engagement of various tutors and native speakers in preparing the debaters would expose the students to different intonations they might encouter at the championship, and these are commendable.
” With all these, as a concern group, we are confident that the students will represent Nigeria well as they have done at the national level,” Ahmed said.
He therefore urged the Federal Government to support the Kwara State Government to enable the state meet all standards before and during the championship.
