The Chairman of Young Progressive Party (YPP) in Nasarawa state, Bishop Matthew, has lamented Governor Abdullahi Sule’s negligence in delivering his campaign promises to residents of the state.

Speaking with newsmen on Thursday in Lafia, Matthew explained that while the governor was campaigning in 2019 as then gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, he promised to industrialize the state if elected into office but has failed to deliver on his promise after two years of his administration.

He called on Nasarawa residents to support YPP in the 2023 general elections, saying that the party was prepared to change the narrative by turning the fortunes of the state for the better.

“There is nothing going on in Nasarawa state. So many people are suffering. No infrastructures or social amenities. The Governor promised to industrialize the state but up till today, nothing has happened.

The two years of his administration have been very hectic to the people of the state. But I want to assure residents of the state that if they elect our party’s candidate in 2023, we are going to bring a positive change to Nasarawa state,” he said.
