With just 5-days to go before the launch of billionaire and activist investor Femi Otedola’s new memoir on August 18th, fellow billionaire, Aliko Dangote has called the book a must read for budding investors.

“In this book, readers have a rare front-row seat adventure into Femi’s compelling and transformative entrepreneurial journey. This is a highly recommended read for anyone who aspires to be successful in a challenging environment,” Dangote, who is Africa’s richest man worth $29.2 billion, said.

“As someone who came from an entrepreneurial family myself, venturing into business early by selling sweets in primary school, going on to become a trader and now an industrialist, I vividly relate with this enriching account, that effectively unpacks useful insights for surmounting business hurdles, as well as connecting many corporate dots or budding entrepreneurs.”

The book titled ‘Making it Big: Lessons from a life in business’ is now available at Waterstones Booksellers Limited, the largest bookseller in the UK, and will reveal the lessons, setbacks and triumphs that shaped the path of the serial entrepreneur, Mr. Otedola.

Otedola is the largest shareholder and Chairman of FirstHoldCo Plc, that owns one of Africa’s biggest banks First Bank as well as Chairman of power generating firm Geregu Power.
