Gov. Yahaya Bello Bags Honorary Fellow of National Institute of Credit Administration

Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello has been conferred an Honorary Fellow (FICA) of the National Institute of Credit Administration, NICA.

NICA is a chartered prestigious body of eminent credit management elites, empowered by law to control, supervise and regulate credit management profession in Nigeria.

He accepted his Honorary Fellow of the prestigious credit management association recently in Lagos. Governor Bello who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku stated that he was pleased to be conferred an Honorary Fellow of the institute.

Governor Bello said since the establishment of the institute in 1992, the institute has not deviated from its core mandate of fostering development of credit management in Nigeria and Africa while ensuring that standards are set based on best practices in professional and ethical conducts has been strengthened and improved tremendously.

Governor Yahaya Bello who is a Chartered Accountant commended the Institute of Credit Administration for its commitment to bringing changes to the face and habit of credit business at all levels in Nigeria and influencing structures of risk measurement to protect the item on the balance sheet called accounts receivable.

The institute preserves, promotes and protects the integrity and interest of credit business across sectors of the economy.
