Afrobeats star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface, is at the centre of reports alleging that he had an altercation with his new wife, Natasha Osawaru, in the United Kingdom (UK), shortly after arriving for his tour.

According to claims by social media commentator, Tosin Silverdam, the incident escalated to the point where police were called and the legendary singer was reportedly taken away.

The couple had arrived in the UK on Thursday, October 2, 2025, for his UK tour that was to kick off that same day.

However, the reports claimed that the couple allegedly got into a heated argument shortly after being picked up at the airport, which later escalated at their hotel, with bottles reportedly flying during the altercation.

Reacting to the development, 2baba, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, claimed that he failed to show up for his scheduled performance because he had a medical emergency.

In a video he posted on social media, the singer could be seen with Natasha and another individual in what appeared to be a studio, as they laughed off the allegations.

The other man in the video said, “Oh boy, they have alleged.”

And Idibia responded, “Please, if you don’t know anything, don’t talk. I am tired of this allegedly.

“We had a medical emergency. It was tough. To the show organisers and everybody that came out, I appreciate you. We go regroup and make something beautiful happen.”

However, in another video Silverdam maintained that his sources were accurate, even as he shared alleged chats between the organisers of show, and others.
