Arewa Group Calls For Improved Security In Nigeria, Lauds Matawalle’s Efforts On Peace

Northern group under the auspices of Advocacy for Good Governance in Nigeria, has advocated for improved security in the country ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The group made the call during an interactive session with newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday, where the group lamented that the level of insecurity in the country has destabilized many Nigerians.

The leader of the group, Muhammed Abdullahi commended the Governor of Zamfara state, Bello Mohammed Matawalle for his adopted approach in reversing the security situation in the state.

The group therefore urged the citizens of the state to support the Matawalle led administration in the fight against banditry in the state.

The leader of the group also advised the Zamfara state government to come up with economic policy that would help improve the security situation of the state.
