The Nigerian Senate has passed the Local Government Financial Autonomy Bill.
The bill sponsored by Hon. Munsur Manu Soro, seeks to grant full financial, administrative and uniformity of tenure autonomy to the third tier of the Nigeria Government.
Senators have overwhelmingly voted in support of the Bill at the on-going plenary in Abuja.
92 out of the 109 Senators voted in support of the Bill.
