Elder Chinedum Okoro Ezerie, the consultant to the labour Party gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 general election in Nasarawa state, Comrade Joseph Ewuga has adviced the Abia state governor elect, Dr. Alex Otti not to kidnap the trust given to him by the people of Abia.
He made this known in Lafia, while playing host to a group known as Abia rebirth north central zone under the leadership of Chief Ikechukwu Anthony.
The Arunsi Umunkaa (Oracle of god in Umunkaa land) said Nigerian politicians turn their back to the electorate when they eventually get to power.
He however expressed optimism that the governor elect Dr. Otti (Ugwu Abia) shall be a servant leader haven followed his antecedents from childhood.
He thank the group for their contribution towards the emergence of the Dr. Otti as governor elect of Abia state and the zeal in planning for the success of the fourth coming inauguration.
The Oracle urged both the group and the people of Abia to close their ranks in other to bring back the lost glory of the state.
Earlier in his speech, the leader of the group, Chief Ikechukwu Anthony said they were in Chinedu’s place to celebrate with him over the gubernatorial victory of his uncle Dr. Otti as governor elect of Abia.
While congratulating the governor elect, he appreciated the people of Abia for trusting a trusted man.
Chief Ikechukwu appealed to all those who won and lost elections in the state to come to together and build a greater Abia state.
Highlight of the event was the observation of a minute silent for the soul of Mrs. Ifeoma Orji Uzor Kalu wife of the former Abia state governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu where they prayed God to give Kalu the fortitude to bear the lost.
Those who were around during the visit are Joseph Ewuga, LP gubernatorial candidate, Johnnes Shamah director of finance Ewuga/ Sulaiman campaign organisation 2023 among other dignitaries.
