INEC Lists Sheriff as PDP Candidate in Delta Governorship Poll

Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has been listed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the governorship candidate of PDP in the state.

On Thursday, July 8th, 2022, a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja passed a judgement against the candidacy of Oborevwori for the 2023 gubernatorial elections in Delta State.

But with the list of gubernatorial candidates pasted nationwide on Friday at INEC’s state offices, and online, Oborevwori name and that of his deputy Onyeme Monday, were displayed.
