Real Madrid boss and former Roma player Carlo Ancelotti continued to sing praises of Jose Mourinho’s work in the Italian capital in a recent interview with Il Messaggero where he also discussed the expectations for Roma’s upcoming campaign.
“I think this year we should watch out for Roma,” said the legendary technician. “They’ve gotten better in this transfer window. Dybala, Wijnaldum, Matic are all important signings.”
“Let’s also keep in mind that Zaniolo and Spinazzola have returned from the shadows of serious injuries.”
More on Mourinho: “He’s done a great job of entering Roma’s history books. Roma needed a manager like him, just like he needed the love and support of an entire fanbase. It’s a perfect marriage.”
“I also want to add that Roma’s new ownership handle their business in a very serious manner. They have clear ideas.”
