FloSports, an American streaming service, has extended its Canadian rights to the Tour de France from 2024 to 2028.

The agreement with Amaury Sport Organisation includes other prestigious cycling races such as the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift, Paris-Roubaix Femmes Avec Zwift, La Vuelta, and more.

Additional non-cycling races produced by ASO will also be streamed by FloSports including the Dakar Rally and the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon.

In November, FloSports secured exclusive Canadian rights to the women’s Tour de France in 2022 and 2023.

“FloSports is committed to delivering the best in competitive cycling to Canadian audiences and we are excited to extend our relationship with Amaury Sport Organisation,” says Ryan Fenton, FloSports director of global rights acquisition. “The addition of the Tour de France Femmes and other women’s cycling events brings more diverse programming to our FloBikes platform, and we’re honoured to shine a spotlight on these world-class competitors.

“We take pride in the opportunity to broadcast these prestigious global sporting events including the Dakar Rally and the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris across our network,” Fenton said.

Italy is poised to host the “Grand Départ” of the Tour de France for the first time in 2024, with Nice set to act as the finale for the cycling “Grand Tour” due to the staging of the summer Olympic Games in Paris.
